enquiries@nickwilliamscounselling.co.ukAre you looking for a psychotherapist or couples counsellor in South London?I have worked with counselling and psychotherapy clients for more than 10 years. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space to talk, for individuals and couples, and welcome clients of all cultures, religious and sexual identities.
I work within the ethical guidelines of both the United Kingdom Council For Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am experienced in working with many issues, including depression, anxiety, 'feeling lost', panic attacks, self-esteem, identity, relationships, sex, sexuality, abuse, anger, addictions, self-harm, employment issues, and bereavement.
I use a range of models of counselling and therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques, as well as more exploratory approaches for longer term work. I'm happy to discuss different ways of working and what might be most appropriate for you.
In Forest Hill, London SE23I work a few minutes walk from Forest Hill mainline station with frequent trains from London Bridge, Victoria, Clapham Junction, and Croydon as well as the new East London Line from Croydon to Docklands and Dalston. Forest Hill is on the South Circular and within easy reach of Dulwich, Sydenham, Crystal Palace, Honor Oak Park, Catford, Penge and Lewisham.
In Clapham, London SW4 (level access from street level)
I work at
The Awareness Centre in Abbeville Road. Nearest underground stations are Clapham South and Clapham Common. The centre is within easy reach of Balham, Brixton, Wandsworth, Streatham, Tooting, Stockwell and Battersea.
Standard fees (per 50 minute session): Individuals £45, couples £60.
It's important that you find a counsellor or psychotherapist you feel you can work well with. I usually suggest an initial assessment session - at the same fees - after which you can decide if you want to go ahead.
